The Future is Local.

We knew we wanted our shop to be as sustainable as possible. We strive to abide by the following set of aspirational eco-priorities: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Go Local. We refuse products and practices that don’t align with our values. We Reduce the number of resources we use and the waste we produce. We Reuse packing materials, sell vintage and up-cycled items, and try to minimize use of disposable goods. We practice traditional Recycling as well as composting our waste when we can. 

By focusing on local products and vintage items, we not only cut down on unnecessary production but also on the dependency of global supply chains. We believe adapting to local models is one of the very best changes we can all make to become better stewards of our planet and that the reduction of a carbon footprint starts by embracing simpler lives. Hence our motto: the future is local.
