Someone or something seems to inspire many of us at some point in our lives. For me, Gemmabags, the name of my creations, and the name of my mom Gemma, was launched. As a child, I would watch her sew bags for her yarn, design curtains and pillows for our home, as well as unique crocheted blankets all the while taking care of our family and working. Although I was young when my grandmother passed, I was well aware of her beautiful hemstitched bedlinens that are 100 years old and are still used today by our family.
