From her website: Fury creatures have always been a big part of my life! From my grandparents farm animals to my own variety of rescue dogs, bunnies, ferrets, turtles, frogs and fish. I should have opened a zoo!

As an adult, I found myself volunteering at W.O.L.F. sanctuary in Colorado as well as doing some pet sitting.

I've always needed a creative outlet - photography, graphic design, jewelry making, glass blowing, etc. My latest venture, engraving pet portraits on wood started when I wanted to engrave inscriptions on copper and brass charms. My wonderful husband bought me an engraver. I did some tests on wood and fell in love. To this day, I have not used the engraver on jewelry! Who knew?
